Aquaseal Watertight Hatch Seal

Aquaseal Rubber Ltd first developed our flagship product – the Aquaseal Hatch Seal – when manufacturing watertight hatch seals over 40 years ago. Since then, we have continued to provide our Aquaseal Hatch Seal to leading hatch cover suppliers worldwide.

About Aquaseal Hatch Seal
Aquaseal’s water tight seal is used primarily for marine hatch packing and door seal applications. The seal consists of a solid rubber outer on 3 sides and a cellular sponge core bonded to the solid rubber outer faces.

Depending on your application, there are three choices of rubber for the sealing face:

  • General-Purpose Use: Natural Rubber/SBR
  • Ozone Resistance & High-Temperature Use: Neoprene Rubber
  • Gas & Oil Resistance: Nitrile Rubber

The cellular core is purpose-made for this product and offers excellent compression recovery. We offer several standard sizes:

  • 38mm x 25mm
  • 40mm x 20mm
  • 71mm x 32mm
  • 94mm x 50mm

However, we can manufacture our Aquaseal Watertight Hatch Seal bespoke in a variety of sizes from 20mm x 20 mm up to 150mm x 55mm. Speak to a member of the Aquaseal team today to discuss custom sizing of our water tight seals and prices.
