Yacht Seals
Yacht seals are rubber seals designed to create a pressure seal around a door or hatch on your yacht, keeping people and possessions safe, and water out.
They differ from industrial watertight hatch seals because they are made bespoke for each customer – there is a multitude of different types of yacht around the world, all made by different manufacturers, so there are no industry standards. Yacht seals are also often more lightweight than other marine seals and products.
We can manufacture yacht seals to any specification, whether your yacht seal requires extra fire protection, increased resistance to low temperatures, or a bespoke colour treatment. The hatch seals used on industrial cargo vessels tend to be made of a thick black rubber that looks unsightly when applied to a yacht. For most of our customers, we produce yacht seals in white to match the exterior of the yacht.
We will require photos of your existing yacht seal and a description of the current problem before we can send out a sample. If you request it, we are able to make inspections and visits to the vessel. This will incur an additional cost.
All of our yacht seals are made to ISO 9001 2015.
